Scrap Metal Recycling

Why recycle scrap metal?

If you have scrap metal to get rid of and you’re not sure what to do with it, you may want to recycle it. There are lots of benefits of recycling, and scrap metal recycling is good for the environment and can save individuals and businesses precious time and energy.

By recycling scrap metal, we can conserve non-renewable natural resources such as iron, copper, and aluminium.

It also uses less energy than the amount needed to produce new metal, which can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Scrap metal recycling process

The scrap metal recycling process begins with the collection of the scrap metal. Once it has been collected, it is sorted either by hand or with machines. After it has been sorted, it is processed to remove any impurities and prepare it for recycling. The final step in the process is to create new products from the recycled materials.

The procedure for bringing metals into us is easy. All you need is photo ID and payment is issued immediately. To cater for all kinds of deliveries we have a large drive on weighbridge as well as smaller scales. We also offer scrap vehicle recycling if you want to dispose of your vehicle.
