Waste Disposal

E. J. Shanley & Son have a fully permitted and licensed waste transfer station based in Shails Lane, Trowbridge.

All waste generated by our skip hire and collection services is recycled at our own recycling centre.

Our waste transfer facility is also open to commercial clients who wish to dispose of their waste in an efficient and environmentally sound manner. We accept all clean and uncontaminated waste delivered directly into our site in Trowbridge.

All waste deposited on site is sorted by hand and separated so that certain types of waste can be easily recycled. It is our aim to recycle as much waste as possible and reduce amounts that are sent to landfill.

We can accept most types of waste materials into our waste transfer site at Trowbridge. These include:

  • Soil
  • Stone
  • Concrete
  • Wood
  • Plaster board
  • Food waste

We also have a dedicated scrap metal recycling service for ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals that you want to recycle.
